In today’s global coal and minerals industries, it is a requirement for reliable, timely and efficient NATA accredited source of exploration analytical services. This data is needed to develop comprehensive coal quality models for resource evaluation leading to future mine expansion and development.
Bureau Veritas Minerals Group (Coal Services) are a leading provider of technical testing, shipment certification and support services for the Australian coal industry, with ten laboratories and preparation facilities employing over 400 people. Each of these are accredited to ISO IEC 17025:2005, including NATA Supplementary Requirements for Chemical Testing.
Comprehensive Borecore services are offered in three of our largest laboratories; Brisbane, Newcastle and Gladstone. Less complex Borecore services are offered at our other laboratories.
Our many years of experience and comprehensive network of facilities form the base from which we provide a spectrum of expert analytical and technical support services to the coal mining and other industries.

Yes, we have a comprehensive network of laboratories strategically located in the heart of the coal producing laboratories of Australia.
Samples can be dropped at any of the Bureau Veritas Coal Laboratories. Based on your testing requirements we will distribute your samples to the appropriate facility as part of the integrated service we provide.
