    1. Occupational Hygiene Services

    Our Occupational Hygiene group provides workplace assessments and testing including personal exposure monitoring for physical and chemical hazards in a diverse range of working environments. All assessments are undertaken by qualified and experienced occupational hygienists & technicians with the primary focus being the provision of practical, cost effective solutions designed to achieve compliance with the relevant standards and statutory requirements specific to client situations. Our laboratories are NATA accredited for airborne asbestos fibre counting, asbestos identification in bulk samples and gravimetric analysis of inhalable & respirable dust.

     

    Occupational hygiene assessment services cover airborne contaminant exposures (asbestos, respirable dust, gases, vapours, fumes), workplace noise exposures, confined space risks, plant safety, heat stress, ventilation, hazardous substance risks, water quality testing and lighting surveys. We can assess indoor air quality for airborne bacteria & fungi, temperature & relative humidity, carbon dioxide & dust, and Sick Building Syndrome.


    The Asbestos related services include Identification, Building Material Audits/Risk Assessments, Fibre Monitoring, Risk Management Plans, Removal Project Management, Clearance Inspections & Asbestos Removal Certification, Synthetic Mineral Fibre & Hazardous Materials Audits.

    2. Environmental Assessment Services

    The Bureau Veritas environmental assessment team specialises in environmental services for land and building purchasers, developers, construction companies, public utilities and the petroleum industry. Environmental services reduce the potential for unforeseen costs related to land/building purchasing, construction and redevelopment scheduling delays, while also minimising liability and exposure risk of contaminants to employees, wildlife and surrounding lands.

     

    Our environmental assessment services cover environmental due diligence investigations, site assessments - phase 1 & 2, commercial & industrial underground storage system assessments and advisory & management of site remediation solutions.

    3. Safety & Training

    Bureau Veritas Australia Pty Ltd offers a wide variety of Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QHSE) training programs to help clients educate their employees and in-house specialists about QHSE issues within the workplace or other facilities. If required, our trainers are able to evaluate the client's individual needs to develop a customised training solution that provides results.

Our Occupational Health group operate from the Victorian Geelong office and provide on - and off-site - medical testing services such as customised pre-employment medicals/fit for work assessments, customised health surveillance programs (Noise, Asbestos, Lead, Spray Paint & Welding) and drug & alcohol testing.

    The Bureau Veritas Environmental Monitoring & Management group (Formerly CCI Environmental - NSW) offers a complete suite of services from field to folder – planning, implementation of monitoring systems, field sampling, analysis, data management, trend analysis, consultation & reporting, and more. We provide a wide range of health, safety & environmental monitoring, sampling and analysis to local councils, mining bodies, environmental consultants, natural resource managers, industrial, manufacturing & commercial facilities.

     

    Typical services include salinity profiling, field sampling of water in dams, creeks & rivers, flora & fauna surveys & monitoring, noise surveys & monitoring, respirable and environmental dust monitoring, petrographic analysis of dust particles and petrographic analysis of environmentally contaminated samples.

     

    We further provide a wide range of monitoring, sampling & operational support services for water treatment & sewage treatment plants, ground water, pit water, discharges, runoff, potable water, dams and storages. In addition, laboratory testing is provided for:
